A Note on the Front Camera
Some Pakistani price listings show a 32MP front camera for this phone, while others show 50MP. We checked this against the detailed specification record and independent reviews, which list a 50MP front camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor) with autofocus and 4K video recording for the Ultra model. The 32MP figure belongs to the lower Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro models, not the Ultra. This article therefore uses 50MP for the Camon 50 Ultra 5G front camera.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G Features
The camera system is the main reason to buy this phone. The 50MP Sony LYT 700C main sensor with optical image stabilization takes detailed photos in daylight and holds up well in low light. The 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom is the real upgrade over cheaper Camon models — it lets you shoot portraits and distant subjects without the soft, digital-zoom look. The front camera is equally serious, with a 50MP sensor, autofocus, and 4K video, which is rare at this price and makes the phone a strong pick for creators and video calls.
The display is another highlight. The curved 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate looks sharp and fluid, whether you are watching videos, gaming, or scrolling. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and strong IP68 / IP69 / IP69K water and dust resistance ratings add durability that most phones in this range do not offer.
Performance comes from the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate, a modern 4nm chip that handles multitasking, gaming, and 5G connectivity smoothly. The 6,500mAh battery is large enough for heavy days, and 45W charging keeps top-ups reasonably quick. HiOS 16 on Android 16 adds Tecno’s AI photography tools, including FlashSnap for moving subjects and AI-assisted zoom.
